Joanne & Pat’s June wedding at the Club was full of gorgeous little details, all recently featured on Style Me Pretty. It was so much fun getting to work with Joanne and Pat and getting to know the family who played a huge role in making their day an extra special one. Joanne’s sister Nicole just so happens to be a seasoned wedding planner and stylist, her mom a make-up artist, and Nicole’s fiancé Royce a talented photographer!
The Food & Drink: Following an afternoon ceremony at Hycroft Manor, guests arrived at the Club for an evening reception and mingled on the outdoor terrace while enjoying the couple’s signature cocktails – bourbon sours and sparkling punch. Buffet dinner included an assortment of fresh salads, West-coast inspired seafood dishes and a selection of antipasto. The cake, baked fresh by the Club’s pastry Chef, was a two tier gluten-free red velvet with cream cheese icing.
The Decor: A colour scheme of silver, blush and white create a soft, elegant space for their reception. Guest tables were dressed with white linens, mercury votives, and pink and white centerpieces of hydrangeas and peonies. Foiled seating cards hung with ribbon from each chair and double sided thank-you cards with bride & groom fill-in-the-blanks at each place setting served as the guest book. Gorgeous lace table cloths covered the cocktail tables and the signature drinks were listed on custom bar signage. Vintage elements, such as mirrors, a working typewriter, and suitcases filled with homemade popcorn to take home, helped complete the look.
